Most cities require a particular set of plans. Sometimes that includes structural plans like foundation engineering, framing plans, wind brace plans and roofing plans. included with your plans are the CAD files for your engineer.

Other items needed for Foundation Plans:

Soils analysis: A site plan will be needed for the engineer testing the soil

While permit costs are calculated different in every city, EHD costs the same.

We do not charge if additional items on plans are needed for permitting.

Also, permitting issues take priority over other items. Providing those changes needed will be expedited by EHD.

In some communities a civil engineer will be required to do a drainage plan or retaining wall plan to ensure proper drainage and reduce erosion.
